I did some searching on the net, and couldn’t find a nice convenient listing of all the songs that won an Oscar, so I made one. The asterisks mean I know there’s a square dance version; in some cases I’ve listed the record number.

  1. I have a crossword that asks for a 1947 Oscar winning song and the one listed here does not have the right amount of letters so there must be others in 1947? Did a search…cannot find.

  2. I printed a list off of Dance Me Tonight and your list is the same except for the starting date (year) They start with 1934 – The Continental from the Gay Divorcee. Everything else is the same except the years are one year off – their list to yours. Hope that helps.

  3. Yes, I think my list is showing the year that the song got the award, which is actually pretty stupid. I may change it if I can figure out some nice automatic way of substituting each number with the same number less 1.
