I can’t think of any square dance relevance, but it seemed like such a weird thing to have a special day for that I had to list it. I suppose you could do Chuck Berry records, but that’s a real stretch.

Being quite intrigued by “Poisoned Blackberries Day” I just HAD to Google “Poisoned Blackberries”. A couple of references to the devil poisoning the blackberries (with spit or urine) on a certain day in the fall came up (found Sept. 26 and Oct. 10), so it is best to do all your berry picking before then. This is supposedly a Scottish tale.
