There was an old clerk of Columbus
Who wearied of totalling numbus,
So he moved to East Lansing
    And spent his time dancing
Maxixes, merengues, and rhumbus.

May 5: Cinco de Mayo
Cinco de Mayo, is the day to celebrate the anniversary of the 1862 Battle of Puebla. General Ignacio Zaragoza?s troops were outnumbered three to one as they battled the invading French army. They may have been outnumbered but they had the will to win. The Mexican forces defeated Napoleon III?s army and Puebla stood.

Today's a good day to break out your Latin-themed records, and maybe play some mariachi music during the breaks.

I'm sorry, but I've had to disable comments. Spambots have found the site, and I don't have time to try to figure out how to stop them. In the future, I'll probably start using some standard blogging software that I can modify to add the dance quotes. In the meantime, no comments.
